Welcome to Clinton C of E Primary School

At the Clinton C of E Primary School, all pupils are supported by the teachers as individuals to strive for excellence in a caring, family and community-centred rural environment. Our connected and creative curriculum offers an opportunity for children to explore their own talents as well as learn new skills. Every day, our dedicated team works hard to encourage and support every child as they progress along their learning journey at this school.

The land our school is built on was generously donated by Lord and Lady Clinton whom often attend the school events and Easter/Summer fares.

This is a Church of England Primary School in the Diocese of Exeter. Recognising the historic foundation the school will preserve and develop the religious character in accordance with the principles and practice of the Church of England and in partnership with the Churches in the Parish and Diocese.

The school aims to serve its communities by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers its pupils.

School Life

School Council
Members of the School Council were elected by a democratic vote by their class peers. We aim to have a school council meeting at least once every half term, in which we discuss any issues that have arisen from class meetings. Discussions can include; playtime games, uniform changes and newsletters. The School Council also have a large part to play in the Charities that the school supports and give ideas to fundraising events like Children in Need and Sport Relief.
Timetable
All classes have a fruit break mid morning. A bell will ring at 08:55 to signify the start of the school day and registration we ask all parents leave the premises when the bell is rung.
